About STARFACE
STARFACE began as a return to making.
Created by Femi Akande, a creative working at the intersection of art, form, and collectibility, the project emerged from a need to step away from structure and return to something more instinctive. What began as a simple act of drawing evolved into an exploration of form, character, and presence without constraint.
Over time, that process moved beyond the sketchbook — into objects that could exist physically. Pieces designed to feel intentional, collectible, and worth keeping.
Space Kid is the first expression of that world. A character not defined by identity, but by potential — shaped by the idea of becoming something beyond where you start.
The form is simple, but deliberate. The helmet, the eyes, the jewellery, the stillness in the stance — each element feels considered, placed with purpose.
STARFACE sits between art and object — using character-led design to explore presence, identity, and imagination in a way that feels both minimal and expressive.
